Nursery

This program targets the early childhood level. The goal of this ministry is to make sure that the children are being cared for, comforted, and nurtured. Even though the little students in the ministry are not yet able to read or write it is the goal of this ministry to make sure that the love of Christ is exemplified in the time and attention given to each child by the ministry care givers.

Nursery is provided during Sunday School and all church services.




Children's Ministry

Children are a gift from God and are at a crucial part in their lives.  At Westmoreland Independent Baptist Church our desire is for children to grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. That is why we offer various Sunday school classes for children of all ages.

Children are soft and impressionable toward God, and the ministry to children is both fun and practical. Here children will develop a foundation to love and follow Christ early in life. With the help of games, activities, special treats, and loving teachers, each class is fun and prepares them for life ahead.




Sunday School

At Westmoreland Independent Baptist Church we possess a thirst for knowing the Word of God.  The best way to know the Bible is to be a part of our Sunday School ministry.  Every week at 9:45 a.m. our Sunday school classes meet.  We offer several different classes designed to meet the unique needs of all of our people.  From infants to senior citizens, each lesson has been carefully prepared to minister to each particular class.  Children enjoy a great Bible lesson, fun activities, stimulating stories, and exciting crafts.  Teens and Adults are always refreshed as we enjoy delightful Christian fellowship and a practical Bible study.





Bus Ministry

WIBC wants everyone to be able to attend church. That's why we have a bus ministry that reaches throughout the region, picking up boys, girls and adults who otherwise could not come. In a day when many churches have abandoned the bus ministry, we desire to see it grow and reach new people like never before.






World Missions

WIBC is a missions minded church and we believe it is the heartbeat of God. It is our goal as a church body to support a missionary in every country. Below are a list of our current missionary projects:
